“Making jewelry is such a beautiful process, and yet it is also very healing for me. It’s how I express myself. My jewelry is about who I am and where I come from. This is how I tell my story.”- Neeko
Born and raised in Texas, Neeko creates hand fabricated contemporary jewelry. She transforms silver and gems into delicate designs of hummingbirds, butterflies, florals, moons, stars and more. At a young age she got her creative side from her mom and picked up her business skills from her dad. Ever since she was a little girl she has always been fascinated with silver and turquoise jewelry.
Neeko’s work is inspired by the world around her and her personal life. Each piece she hand fabricates from sterling silver to lapidary (stone cutting).
In 2022 Neeko received her first award, a 1st place ribbon in the contemporary earring’s category at the prestigious juried show, Santa Fe Indian Market. Her piece was titled, Sunshine and the Sweetness of Life. A beautiful piece filled with Sunflowers and hand carved coral strawberries.
